GrooMasters Prague 2026 is approaching, and we would like to introduce a woman most of you already know well.
A woman who moves the world of grooming forward every single day.
A woman who may have designed the scissors you are holding in your hand right now.
It is a great honor for us to announce that Kitty Dekeersgieter, one of the biggest icons of the global grooming industry, has once again accepted our invitation and will serve as the President of the Jury at GrooMasters Prague 2026.
Kitty is a world-renowned groomer, educator, and judge with decades of experience on the international stage. Her precision, attention to detail, and passion for educating groomers around the world have made her a true authority in the field.
We are looking forward to welcoming her back to Prague!

The judging panel of GrooMasters Prague 2026 will once again welcome a true legend of the grooming world – Kitty Ponnet.
With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Kitty is recognized as one of the most respected professionals in global grooming.
She is a multiple international competition winner, a European Grooming Champion, and a key figure at Transgroom, a company that has played a major role in shaping the modern grooming industry.
Her precision, eye for detail, and immense passion for education have inspired hundreds of groomers around the world — and we are truly looking forward to welcoming her back to Prague!
ROMANA KANIA 
Many of you have been waiting for this announcement, and we are very excited to introduce another judge for GrooMasters Prague 2026 – Romana Kania.
We are proud to welcome a true legend to the judging panel. Romana Kania is one of the most respected figures in both Czech and European grooming.
Two-time European Champion – the only groomer to have won this title twice.
Winner of numerous awards at both European and American grooming competitions.
Active educator and EGA judge, working in the Czech Republic and internationally.
Romana is known for her precision, great humility, and deep passion for sharing knowledge. We are thrilled that she will bring her expertise and keen eye for detail to GrooMasters Prague 2026.
At GrooMasters Prague 2026, we are also delighted to welcome Ilse Frenk-Kleton to the judging panel!
Ilse is one of the truly creative souls of the grooming world. Alongside her precise work with traditional breed trims, she has developed a passion for model dog grooming, creative techniques, and the use of color.
Thanks to her experience, artistic eye for detail, and deep knowledge of creative grooming, she is the perfectly qualified judge for our new creative categories, as well as the ones you already know.
We can’t wait to welcome her to Prague!
